Da Hao Bian Zhen, Private Estate

From the fertile shores of Lake Taihu in Wuxi province, this rare green tea has long, well-formed, silver-tipped needles and fresh green fragrance in the dry leaf. It yields a pale golden liquor with a delicate vegetal taste and smooth finish. It doesn't become bitter from oversteeping, and the leaves are good for several infusions. The tea is at its best with water temperature well below boiling.
